Ring Doorbell Systems

Doorbells are an incredibly common piece of hardware that you often don’t think about. Buildmydoor offers three modern doorbells that can work alongside your smart home devices. The Ring brand of doorbell features a camera, allowing you to view in real time who is at your door, as well as speak to them through the inbuilt microphone. Wireless and easily rechargeable, these doorbells feature infrared night vision and a motion sensor that will alert you to visitors even if they don’t ring the doorbell.

Available in standard, Pro and Elite models, the Ring brand doorbell is wi-fi enabled and controllable through your phone, home computer and Alexa devices. Ring also provides a theft-protection guarantee, replacing your doorbell for free if it gets stolen. They also come with an optional subscription service, allowing you to capture and record your videos to the app for 30 days, with an initial 30-day free trial. Handles

We offer a variety of different hardware options for your composite doors, including handles. These handles feature not only different styles but also different types of protection. Certain locks feature a split spindle, which locks automatically behind you when you close the door, while the standard spindle must be locked manually. This split spindle option prevents the door from being left unlocked but will lock you out if you forget your keys.

We offer classic lever handle, stainless steel pull handles and Escutcheon pull-to-close handle-less locks. While stainless steel pull handles are the best choice for contemporary doors, each hardware design can suit a range of styles. The handle-less Escutcheon polished chrome lock creates a smooth profile that doesn’t protrude outside of the frame, while providing the same level of security as the other handle options.

Additional Hardware

When designing a composite door, it is important that it includes all the hardware features that you want. Our composite Door Designer allows you to choose letterboxes, door knockers and even spyholes to create a door specific to your needs. If your new composite profile is being used as a front entrance door, you may want a letterbox if you don’t have a separate mail box or another secure place to receive mail. Door knockers are also a classic alternative piece of hardware to doorbells and can create a timeless appearance for your door.

We feature three types of door knockers and letterboxes. Each piece of hardware is suited to traditional and contemporary styles. The bullring knocker is an old fashioned design that works best alongside the Heritage letterbox for a period design. The Architectural knocker and handle suit sleeker, modern finishes, while the Urn style knocker and Nu Mail letterbox can suit any kind of door style. A spyhole can also be fitted to provide you with protection against unwanted visitors without having to open the door.
